Right. Well, here is my new blog on wordpress.com. The boys at the Rainbow Podsquad have been using the site for a bit and I popped over to check it out and so far, like it quite well. Thanks AJ!
So I’ve been thinking more and more about podcasting since the beginning of December. I have had an interest for some time, but really started to get the bug for it in December. So to check it out, I went on my iTunes app here at work and searched the podcasting feature. And the first podcast I downloaded and listened to was on the Rainbow Podsquad. I am soooo glad, too! I am addicted to AJ and Sam and the rest of the bunch over there.
I am investigating the equipment needed to get myself set up right. In the meantime, I’ve decided to be ambitious and produce three separate shows. Yes! THREE! I know, I’m setting myself up for burn-out, right? Well, we’ll see. Show #1 is a personal show: just me and maybe a few friends guesting here and there. It’ll be a continuation of my column writing. Show #2 is a GLBT community news broadcast for Sacramento, CA (where I live) ’cause we really need one and running the most popular GLBT publication in Sac, I think I’m qualified. 
#3 will not be me, but a Film Review Cast called “Swanner & Judd”. Tom Swanner & Brian Judd have been film reviewers both in print in the now defunct Q-Ragg Newspaper and the very awesome MGW Newsmagazine and on Sacramento’s Being Gay Today TV Show. They are a gay, bitchy version of Siskel & Ebert. Yes, I said “Siskel”. I don’t acknowledge the show now with that cheap imposture of a critic. What? Was that me? Did I? I did!
So, enough rambling for the first blog. I am going to explore how to make this blog more…user friendly. Woohoo! Monica-Bang!
