SBA: Degrees of Seperation

So it turns out that the woman who died holding her wee to win the Wii is the daughter-in-law of one of my mother’s friends at work. I have a friend at the radio station who was friends with the DJs. 6 Degrees of Seperation. CRAZY! It always amazes me how closely we are all connected in this world. Anyway the current headline is that they fired 10 people from the radio station who were involved in the contest. So I have two questions for you… 1) Do you think they should have been fired? 2) If you owned a radio station and they applied for a job would you hire them? Leave me your comments.

In the meantime, I should be able to get my equipment in the next couple weeks and start getting my podcasts underway. Woohoo! I’ll have credibility at last! OK…time for me to get back to wooooork! Ta!

I think it was a bad error in judgment for them to plan a contest like this. But who would have thought someone would die from it? It probably looked harmless on paper. Yes, I think they should be fired. Yes, I would probably hire them. Hopefully it’s a lesson learned. Sorry to hear it hit so close to home for you.

  2. Yes. They should have been fired. And, more than that, they should go to prison.

And the woman who died should be ashamed of herself. She had children who depended on her.

This whole sad story tells me one thing: Greed Kills.

And I count the days until I hear your podcast!

    Keep up the great work!!
