SBA: 23 Days To Podcast 001

So, AJ IMed my on the gmail chat this weekend and asked me when I was gonna get my shit together and get my podcasts going. So I made a decision that (Barring unforseen circumstances) March 1 will be the date of my first cast. So I have 23 days to get my eqipment and get started. Thanks for the kick in the butt, Sweetheart!

Speaking of AJ, I have taken a card from his deck in the past few days and been a little down. I’ve had this emptiness inside that has made me feel like hyperventilating. I’ve distracted myself with movies and a little extra sleeping. I’ve been feeling lost at work and personal life. I was telling T-DAWG about it and how I have been wondering if I’ve made any difference. And he wrote me the following:

T-DAWG: “I remember a boy who planned a march when violence struck the gay community when he was barely out. He was hungry to make changes and make a difference. I remember how the same boy took a stagnant theatre company and gave it a home and soul. Where is that boy? I know you’re still there.”

What he’s referring to is when I organized a march in Sacramento in response to Matthew Shephard’s death and my 8 1/2 years of work with Sacramento GLBT theatre troupe Lambda Players. (More about that in a future podcast). That was vert sweet of him to say that and to try to give me a little pep talk. It—along with some stuff Pizzababe was saying in her Podcast 117—kinda snapped me out of the mood and I started to get back on track. So thanks to T.F. & Pizza.

Been loving everyone’s casts and jonesing for my own. So in 23 days SBA takes to the MP3-waves. Are you scared? OK…I wanna know from all you who read this blog…My first cast will be a get to know ya…so, I want you all to post comments and ask me questions you want me to answer on the first cast. Give me some inspiration….
