SBA: Deadlines And Bille Myers
Hi all. I know I have been pretty quiet the last 2 weeks or so. After my Tammy Faye Podcast I just feel what greater height can I reach?
I have been working back to back deadlines for the newspaper and magazine this month. The Newspaper deadline was the 7th and printed on the 8th, dealine for the magazine is the 10th, so I will be pulling a late night shoft tonight trying to get a magzine that is about 50% done transferred to the printer by tomorrow morning. I hate deadlines like this because you don’;t have the luxery of double checking everything. It’s assemblyline journalism and I always get scared when we pick it up at the printer. What glaring mistakes will I see that I didn’t notice because I was in such a hurry? Frightening.
About 1 hour ago I got off the phone with Billie Myers—the singer who does the song “Kiss the Rain”. I HATE doing phone interviews, but Billie was great. And she’s British so I loved listening to her speak. And she’s a huge Footballers Wives fan and clued me in on something coming up on the next series I will talk about on my podcast—if AJ doesn’t scoop me. 
Anyway, it was a great interview. I just wish I was able to record it.
Back to writing. (Whip noises.)

Same here honey….been checking on you as well, but guessed Mr. Matthew was busy busy. Always interesting to read your writings though as well, and glad you take the time to post the work you’ve done as well. Some very thought provoking stuff you put forwards. Looking forward to the next cast and big hugz from Bangkok! Hope your summer is coming along nicely
