The one thing I like about McCain is that he holds the record for getting the most demerits of any cadet in the history of the Naval Academy. The second hight total goes to Charlie Wilson. Tom Hanks played Charlie Wilson in the recent movie. There was a line in the movie that references McCain’s achievement. It was edited out. Tom Hanks mentions this in the interview he did with Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo on itunes on 1/11/08.

Keep em coming of course as I’ve been missing hearing you on the SBA. Thanks sooooo much for the kind words about my blog, and really happy to hear your enjoying reading my randomness. Means a lot. You know, I don’t think i could go back to American health care after living here so long. The quality is high and the costs are low here, and can’t imagine paying huge amounts of money to a doctor to have him just tell me i need antibiotics and some tylenol. You can even buy most antibiotics over the counter here at a fraction of the cost from those at home. Its just sad. Happy to hear that chipper spark in your voice again, and relieved your finally starting to feel better! Lots of love from Bangkok!
