Great show guys, took a look at Joe’s artwork as well - fantastic stuff!
The stuff about the podcasts was interesting. God knows I’m green at it, but to me it is far more about communicating and sharing with others than it is about getting attention or becoming popular - when you get to a point where you are doing things to be popular you also leave the point where you are being truthful. What is the point of podcasting if you’re not going to be able to be frank and honest with your listeners and let go of you fears of judgment? I guess what I get out of it is different, but for me it seems like if you are just in it to lie and become popular you can walk out your front door and do it in real life - why go through the trouble of podcasting?
Anyway, great show guys!

I completely agree with you about iTunes and the corporate invasion of personal journals. I don’t mind getting knocked off the “Featured” pages, as I soon will be, but I DO mind that it’ll be some corporate shite that’ll do it. Still, the most important thing is to focus on is content, not rankings, so in a larger sense, I don’t really care.
That said, at the moment the BGSS is in the third spot on the Personal Journals featured page in New Zealand, and ranked #12 overall (sorry, SBA isn’t in the top 100). In Australia, BGSS is in fourth position on the Featured page, and #6 overall, and SBA isn’t in the top 100. But I listen to you, so SBA has at least ONE downunder listener!

Great cast from you two. Quite surprising to hear that Itunes isn’t moderating their listings, and I think it’s just all kinds of wrong that corporate sites have muscled into the personal journal category. Seems unethical to me, but then again corporations are not always shining pillars of moral responsibility and doing the right thing. I would lay the blame on Itunes for not stepping in to take care of the situation. I’ll make sure and send along polite complaints for ya as well honey! Also, I can say that you have at least ‘one’ listener in a southeast Asian country…so SBA is definitely an Internationally distributed production. Love ya Matthew!

I left comments at itunes expressing my desire to see separate catergories for personal journals & professionally produced ones.
Oh & hey, I just noticed that the guys in the podart are all wearing Badger Sporrans. Sweet!
