I’m ready for people to STONE me!

Interesting conversation, guys. I especially enjoyed the debate between the older generation (that’s you, Matthew) and younger generation about Madonna. I have to admit my opinions fall more in line with Matthew’s, but I also have to admit that I have a small gay crush on Matt*hew.

Agree…very interesting episode. Didn’t realize that i was part of an older generation of gays till this episode, but I guess the crows feet and wisps of grey hair appearing on head should have been a clue. I have been a big Madonna fan since i was kid back in the 80’s, and I think it is important to remember that she was there for the gay community back when we had very few that would stand up for us. Sure she is a little nutty, but I think she’s earned the right to a few blunders along the way. I remember when i first came out not understanding the whole idolization many gay men had of Barbara Streisand, so maybe this is a similar situation? However, I don’t think you can put an age cap on talent, and despite what young gays think, there is life after 30. I remember thinking the same way myself! Much love from Bangkok! :-)

I wanna see you bitches scratch fight!

  5. crackedcub Says:

I miss the 80’s and early 90’s Madonna - she was just fucking magic back then - but I still love her.

Fun show though Matt - looking forward to more :)

  6. Joe G. Says:

I know that I’m being superficial given the other issues discussed on this episode, but what was the song at the beginning with the vocals by Debbie Harry, who needs much more exposure these days than let’s say Madonna or Janet? :)
